Summer Fun

So I decided to update my blog since it has been 6 months since Suzie helped me create one. I am not very good at this obviously. This summer has been fun and busy for us. We have had family around or been with family nearly every week. The boys love playing with cousins, Kalie and Kenna especially. I have to laugh every time Parker starts a sentence with "guess what Kalie told me".... That usually means that he is going to say something completely crazy. The best one was the other day when he told me that Kalie says that there is really no Jesus star, she says somebody just made that up. So we had to review the nativity story in the middle of July. Thanks to Kalie, Parker and Kasen are learning all kinds of things from pinkie promises to the eenie meenie mini mo catch a tigger by the toe and so on. Everyday I think he learned that Kalie.
We have also been on our annual camping trip to Redfish Lake and now are proud owners of a dog thanks to Clint. I am slowly adjusting to the puppy. I must say I am terrified of dogs! The boys named her Maddie and she is a white lap. Everyone that sees her says she is a very pretty dog. Hopefully it will not be another six months before I post anything new.

Birthdays

This last week Kasen and Sam both had birthdays. We do not do big friend parties but we did have fun with the family. Kasen turned 4 years old and I love him to death. He has an interesting personality. He has a mind of his own but also loves to please you and wants praised for everything. The things I love most about Kasen right now is that he says, " I told ya so" or "ya know" after everything he says. It is the cutest thing. He also always has a variety of items in his pockets that go everywhere with him from pliars to money, a green beaded necklace, and used shot gun bullets. Kasen loves money and always has some with him and will tell you he is rich. Kasen hates cleaning with a passion and will come up with every excuse possible to not clean, usually he is just too tired and really needs to go to bed. When we make him clean he goes around sayin, "i hate this" over and over. He is always making us smile and laugh at the funny things he says. He is a very special boy and we love having him in our family.
Sam also turned 2 years old this week. I am not sure what to say about Sam. Somedays he is the best boy in the world but other days he is a naughty little boy who only makes messes and throws fits. He is the most bull headed out of all the boys and will ONLY do things his way or no way. He also loves to give kisses and hugs and is very attached to his daddy. His favorite thing to do right now is watch Nemo and play cars of trucks. He is constantly asking Parker or Kasen to race him with his truck.
I am very lucky to have these 3 special little boys in my life. They bring so much happiness into our home. I can't believe how fast they are growing up. Sometimes it makes me sad that they are growing and changing so fast.
